After Hazlewood had scored his runs, Brook took an important single off Stoinis to give England hope; but Australian seamers tightened up and England ultimately fell short of victory.
After an impressive win against Oman in their previous match, Australia put on another show at Kensington Oval to dismantle England – never allowing them any room to run or score runs. Pat Cummins took two wickets from four overs while Adam Zampa added two wickets from six. Australia have now won all their matches so far in this tournament and remain unbeaten as they aim to secure their quarter-final spot without facing any opposition in one or more matches.
